Has your baggage been delayed‚ lost‚ or damaged?

We’re here to help. On this page‚ you’ll find important information about reporting and handling cases of delayed‚ lost‚ or damaged baggage.

Important to Know

If your baggage is lost or damaged‚ it is important to report it immediately upon arrival at your destination.

Before leaving the baggage claim area‚ please go to the Lost & Found or Baggage Claims desk and complete a PIR (Property Irregularity Report).

Important information:

  • Claims for lost or damaged baggage cannot be processed without a PIR report.
  • If damage is discovered after leaving the airport‚ you may still file a report at the airport within 7 days of arrival.
  • If your baggage was taken by another passenger‚ the responsibility lies with that passenger and not with the airline.

Once a PIR report has been submitted‚ it is forwarded to us by the airport.

We will work to locate your baggage and keep you updated. If your baggage is found‚ we will arrange delivery to you by prior coordination.

Important information:

  • Delays in baggage delivery do not create liability for any damage resulting from the delay itself.
  • No compensation is provided for food‚ beverages‚ or other perishable items affected by the delay.
  • We are not responsible for any fees or fines imposed by customs or security authorities in connection with your baggage‚ and we may seek reimbursement where applicable.

In addition‚ we reserve the right to refuse transport of improperly packed baggage or baggage containing perishable items. If such baggage is accepted for transport and is damaged or delayed‚ we will not be liable for any resulting damage.

If your baggage is not located within 21 days from the date of the report‚ it will be considered lost.

In such cases‚ compensation will be assessed in accordance with applicable regulations‚ and our customer service team will contact you.

If your checked baggage has been damaged‚ we will assess liability based on the circumstances of the case.

However‚ liability may be limited or excluded in the following cases:

  • The baggage was not properly packed.
  • The damage is considered normal wear and tear.
  • Minor damage such as scratches‚ scuffs‚ or stains.
  • Damage to wheels‚ wheel housing‚ zippers‚ or locks.
  • Damage caused by overweight or overpacked baggage.
  • Damage to carry-on baggage that was not reported during the flight or before leaving the arrivals area.

After receiving your PIR report at the airport‚ you can submit a baggage claim via the form at the bottom of this page.

To help us handle your request as quickly as possible‚ please include:

  • A copy of the PIR report
  • Any relevant documents or additional information related to the case

To help ensure faster recovery of delayed baggage‚ we recommend attaching an identification tag with your name and contact details to every checked bag.
