Flying with Little Ones

A family vacation is always a win‚ but flying with toddlers can be an adventure! At Bluebird Airways‚ we strive to make your journey with children as smooth and stress-free as possible‚ so you can start your vacation with peace of mind.

Infants (under 2 years old)

Travel at a reduced infant fare. They must sit on an adult's lap. Please note that each adult may travel with only one infant.

Children (2 years and older)

Must have their own seat and are charged the standard adult fare.

Strollers & Diaper Bags

  • Gate Check-in: Strollers are not permitted in the cabin. You can keep your stroller until you reach the boarding bridge or the aircraft stairs. Our team will then store it safely in the hold and return it to you immediately upon landing (at the gate or before you board the shuttle bus).
  • Diaper Bags: If you are traveling with an infant (under 2)‚ you may bring one diaper bag for free (Max: 40 x 30 x 20 cm; Max weight: 5 kg).
  • Car Seats & Boosters:Please note that car seats or boosters are subject to an additional fee.

Minors Traveling Alone

Children under 16 cannot fly alone and must be accompanied by an adult (aged 16 or older)

Keep in Mind

  •  Flying with a non-parent companion: If a child is traveling with an adult who is not their legal parent (or in some cases‚ with only one parent)‚ a notarized letter of consent may be required. This letter‚ signed by one or both parents‚ confirms the escort’s identity and authorizes the travel.

  • Required documents for departure and destination: It is the responsibility of the parents or legal guardians to verify the required immigration and travel documents for both the departure and destination countries‚ as regulations may change.

Ensure that the child keeps their travel forms and documents with them throughout the entire journey.

Bluebird Airways is not responsible for denied boarding or entry into a destination country due to missing or incorrect documentation.
